The Ravens of God

Normally every morning I can hear the sound of many birds singing just outside of my window and I always think of how great is their capacity to worship God constantly, everyone of them with a distinct color and tone like a symphony of worshipers that praise God in spirit and in truth. But I heard something different that morning, there was three birds singing in a very loud and deep tone, and I said to myself -they sound like ravens- I couldn't see them, they were behind a tree, so I lean forward to see if I could catch a glimpse, and there it was a beautiful black bird with lustrous plumage.
The first thing that came to my mind was a dominican saying that states: "Raise ravens and they will take your eyes out"  and in that moment the Lord told me that that is what people say but it was not what he thought about them and that's when I decided to look for this verses:

"Consider the ravens: they do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds?" Luke 12:24

"Who provides food for the raven when its young cry out to God and wander about for lack of food?

The Lord uses His creation as an example to remind you that you can surely TRUST HIM! That you can put your heavy load and anxiety in His hands because He cares for you. That when there's no way out and everything seems obscure, when your life is full of terror because you can't see a door, in your darkest hour there you see the Lord coming to your rescue and providing you food, comfort, solutions, ideas or whatever the circumstances you're facing right now.

The ravens were completely confident that the day they went out on the hunt for food they were going to be satisfied because they trusted their Creator was going to give them their portion. They cry out to God recognizing their dependence on Him. None of your darkest moments are in vane, none of your tears go unnoticed, in your loneliness and desperation the Lord is there holding your hand. The Lord is your provider and your source of Hope.

The Lord wants you to recognize that you depend on Him. He wants you to ask Him for help and understand that you can't go through this alone, He wants you to completely trust the one that is your refuge, your fortress, guidance and salvation. There's nothing wrong in asking for help, He is eager to extend a helping hand. TRUST! when the night is on its darkest it means that soon the sun will rise!
